MCII, How it started.

A WEBSITE 'www.MissingChildrenInIndia.Com' dedicated to missing children, which will help in finding, and placing the children in proper hands was inaugrated by S P S Yadav, Commissioner of Police, Nagpur.


The Program was held on August 9 at Police Gymkhana, Civil Lines. The Website is a joint efforts of Nagpur Police and District Mahila and Bal Vikas Samiti. Many a time the child is lost in one city and is found in some other city. The main objective of the wbeiste is to facilitate a channel of communication between missing children. Police, Parents and the Society. It will provide a platform for quick sharing of information which is extremely useful in attaining avowed objective of effective prevention, control and detection on crime.




The Home page gives information about various boards and institutions which are associated with the Welfare Department and the Police.


The Website is in a preliminary stage, but the concept in worth trying out. One can easily view missing children in a district wise format. The Photo Gallery is easy to browse. The Process of reporting a missing kid is also very simple. A Easy form with a apt example is avaliable online.
